Selena and I were pretty busy over the last 6 weeks preparing for our first official event with our sock friends, to sell them at her school fair.  Although I had to have surgery the week before, a coworker offered to staff the event for me, which meant we could still participate.  Our little creations were a much loved and we received some great feedback too!

We can make you a special monkey for girls or boys, add things like bows and flower, or necklaces, as well as hand-sewn alpha patches, to represent the first name of the recipient.  And for a few dollars more we can ship it out for you, gift wrapped and delivered door to door, with a gift note from you!

 Selena turned 11 this year, and while I sought refuge in my room from the screaming kids, the boys came in to hide, and wanted to learn how to make an owl.  Then the girls did too.  So, after a lot of hard work by the girls, everyone was able to take home a cute little stuffie and we had a lot of fun in the process!
